WACV 2026 Registration Information

WACV 2026 will be in person but will also have a virtual alternative.

Each paper MUST be registered under an ‘Author’ registration type. Virtual registrations or Workshop registrations will not cover paper submissions. Author is the only way to record your paper. Each registration type listed below is available under the AUTHOR header. 

Virtual and Workshop Only registrations will not cover a paper submission - even workshop papers. If circumstances prevent you from attending in person to present your paper, you may attend virtually but you must register and pay for your paper under an in-person registration and please select that you will attend virtually.

Additional papers under a registration will be charged at $550 each.

Early registration deadline is  Jan 06, 2026 03:59 PM PST or . (January 6, 2026, 11:59pm GMT)

Refund policy

All refund requests must be made via email to Nicole Finn. All cancellations will be subject to a $65 cancellation fee before January 20, 2026, 11:59pm Eastern. NO REFUNDS will be made after January 20. You are allowed to change the name on the registration without penalty and can access your record by click on the registration link and select MODIFY.

Updating a Registration

You can update any part of your registration or make a substitution – select MODIFY when following the registration link and log into your account.

Online Event Policy

You will be given log-on details for the virtual event. Please note that your log-on information is just like your badge at the conference.  Anyone caught sharing the same registration will immediately be removed from the online event and could be excluded from future WACV events. You will be held responsible for any code of conduct violations that occur under your registration as well.

Full Passport and AUTHOR Registrations

Full Passport and AUTHOR Registrations include: Admission to all technical sessions, all tutorials, all workshops, any catered functions, and online access to the proceedings as well as the virtual platform.  We do not have one day passes during the main conference. 

Payment/Invoice Information

The only acceptable payment is via credit card through the registration site. We will not accept wire payment, check or PO. A receipt will be issued upon completion. Please use the address needed for your receipt during registration. You can change this yourself if you need to.

There will be a fee for any changes to payments. If you need a refund due to using the wrong card, a fee will be associated with the change.

Visa Letter Request

For a visa letter request:

After you have registered, you should receive an email within 15 minutes with instructions on how to get an invitation letter. If you don't receive the email, read on: (note that between Dec 27th and Dec 30th 2025, the visa letter instructions will be delayed until the 30th).

• Within 15 minutes, a matching profile at WACV Conference Website will be created if one doesn't already exist. If the account was created, it will have no password. Use the password reset page to set (or reset) your password. If you are logged in at WACV Website, you will see your name in the black navigation bar in the top right of the page.  If you are not logged in, click "Login" in the navigation bar.

• Visit the invitation letter page to generate your invitation letter. The letter will be emailed to you. We do not store your passport number or birth date.
